Potex is a potassium extract used as raw material in the production of compound fertilizers. It is highly soluble and can be used in micro-irrigation systems or for preparing the upper layer of soil (the tarf), as it melts easily. Potex is also used as a fertilizer in the agriculture of various vegetables, fruits, and field crops.
This beige-colored potassium sulphate fertilizer in powder form serves as an excellent source of potassium for greenhouse agriculture, especially for vegetables and fruits. Potex is applied to plants via surface irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, or micro-irrigation systems, either by sprinkling directly onto the soil, blending with the soil, or dissolving in water.
For the water solution method, prepare a 5% concentration (5 kg of Potex mixed with 95 liters of water).
The recommended dosage is 25 to 50 kg per decare of land, with the option to increase the dosage for plants with higher potassium needs (e.g., potatoes, beets, bananas, citrus trees) or in potassium-deficient soils.
